To make a space look more opulent, choose colors that blend nicely and complement one another rather than clashing. It may seem simple, but keeping your design to two (maximum of three) colors will make it more cohesive. It's easy to go overboard with the design, but sometimes less is more. To make the room more fascinating, add texture after you've decided on a color scheme. The texture is important in space because it provides depth and offers a tactile sensation.
